THE WOMAN DECOMPOSED
THE WOMAN DECOMPOSED is a raw and intimate solo performance developed at Studio Matejka within the Grotowski Institute in Wrocław. Through rigorous physical action and a stripped-down theatrical language, the piece explores fragmentation, solitude, and the continual act of becoming. A woman dismantles herself only to rebuild and be reborn again and again, moving through pleasure, resistance, vulnerability, and defiance.
The piece was part of the “Monosytuacje” series of experimental solo formats presented at the Grotowski Institute, exploring diverse theatrical languages and physical expression. Presented at the Grotowski Institute’s Sala Teatru Laboratorium 2013.
